Casey Cheesman grew up in Grant County, Kentucky where she graduated from Grant County High School. Following high school, Casey attended Georgetown College and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology in 2011. Thereafter, she attended University of Dayton College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2014.

Casey started her legal career early working as a co-op in high school for Rita Ferguson. Casey continued her employment with Rita Ferguson through law school and upon passing the Kentucky Bar in October of 2014, partnered with Ferguson, Cunningham & Cheesman, PSC, where she practiced in the areas of family law, estate planning and probate. The firm also handled real estate, title and closing matters. 

In October of 2016, Casey joined Steven N. Howe’s practice where she has developed a vast family law practice to include representing clients in divorce, adoptions, juvenile matters and custody issues. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States Eastern District of Kentucky. Casey has represented Clients throughout Kenton, Campbell, Boone, Gallatin, Pendleton, Grant, Harrison, Owen, Carroll and Scott Counties. Casey also represents Clients in civil litigation, estate planning, probate, and real estate matters. 

Outside of practicing law, Casey enjoys spending time with her family to include her Husband, Jacob Cheesman, and their two daughters, Nora and Lila.
