Steven N. Howe

Attorney at Law

Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1986. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, the United States District Court Eastern District of Kentucky and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. For more than twenty years, Martindale Hubbel has recognized him annually in peer review for very high standards in legal ability and ethics.

Within six months of being admitted to practice law, Steve secured an acquittal for a client in the United States District Court Eastern District of Kentucky in a large drug case. Since that time he has represented persons in jury trials in Kenton, Campbell, Boone, Gallatin, Grant, Pendleton, Harrison, Owen, Carroll and Scott Counties. He has been a long standing member of the Federal Criminal Justice Act Panel in the Eastern District of Kentucky. He has argued cases before the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Kentucky.

Steve focuses on representing individuals in litigation matters. This includes criminal charges, family law and personal injury claims. He has secured millions of dollars in recovery for injuries and wrongful deaths throughout his career. If your case involves court proceedings, Steve brings vast experience to the table.

In addition to practicing law, he and his family raise beef cattle and quarter horses on their family farms. His wife, Monica, is a successful real estate agent in the northern Kentucky area. They have two sons, Boston and Lincoln and two grandchildren, McNeill and Clayton.

Steve and his family are lifelong residents of Grant County. Steve is a member of the Grant County High School Basketball Hall of Fame, the Grant County High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Kentucky High School Eighth Region Basketball Hall of Fame. 

Lincoln G. Howe

Attorney at Law

Lincoln G. Howe is a lifelong resident of Grant County. In 2015, Lincoln graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Agriculture Economics. He received a merit scholarship to attend Salmon P. Chase College of Law where he graduated in 2018.

Lincoln began working with his father, Steven N. Howe, upon graduation from Chase College of Law. In 2019 Lincoln received his license to practice law in the state of Kentucky. Lincoln practices in all courts in Northern Kentucky, including Pendleton, Harrison, and Carroll Counties. He has gained vast experience in courtrooms since being admitted to the practice of law handling his own cases as well as being co-counsel with other members of the firm.

Mr. Howe’s areas of practice include domestic law, civil litigation, personal injury, and criminal defense. Lincoln also serves on the Dependency Neglect and Abuse panel for the 15th Judicial Circuit.

Lincoln enjoys playing the guitar in his free time. He has performed at music venues from Atlanta to Indianapolis.

Deby Collins

Administrative Assistant

Deby Collins grew up in Grant County, Kentucky where she graduated from Grant County High School in 1997. Deby has been with the Law Office of Steven N. Howe since 2011 and works as an administrative assistant taking care of the day to day operations of the law office. Outside of work, Deby enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and four children.
